Comfortable . . .
Most people I know do not like to have their picture taken. Frankly, it takes a while for both sides of the camera to warm up to one another. I never concern myself with the first 15 minutes or so of the photo session because the subject is nervous. Even when I have known the people for years, or they're my personal friends, they still are nervous. Images taken in the middle and end of the session are always better. It's just one of those "things". I've known Matt and Lorena for years, have photographed them before and know their parents. Their fathers and I are in the same Rotary club and we live just blocks from each other. It took a little while to shoot the engagement photos but it worked out great, was a lot of fun and the results superb. See below . . .
